BY THE GRACE OF GOD

By the Grace of God

We were called from the depths of night,

From the farthest reaches we heard,

Garbed now in robes-white;

We are made heralds of His word.

By steel and fire reforged,

By stone and ice made keen;

With faith and fervor we are hammered straight

And in humility, made clean.

We shall fight the fury of the raging storm

With holy words as sounds of thunder;

To scour clean the heart of men

Before this world is torn asunder.

We shall stand fast in the face of evil’s hate

And stare down to its unholy might;

Shall tear into the depths of darkest souls

 And for God’s Glory, bring them light.

All by the grace of God!
